Heavy duty and durable. It has to be a smidge heavy to do that. The seatbelt cutter is very sharp and can be used quickly to open boxes. Conveniently fits in your purse.

I bought these as a trial before buying the raptor trauma shears, but now I have these I don’t think I’ll need the raptor! These are basically identical just a little heavier but functionality is the same! I have yet to try the wire cutter or window breaker function but using it so far in EMS care has been very smooth and efficient! Very pleased with the quality and functionality of these scissors! Great value for money and would definitely recommend them.

These trauma shears are built like a tank and when compared to the expensive name brand shears they seemed absolutely as durable. The only difference was the seatbelt cutter doesn't have a lock and the overall fit and finish on the handles were not as good. For the money they are amazing.

Cuts very well, which is all that matters. Beyond that, they are very well built and the locking mechanism is secure. I really like the included clip allowing you to attach it to scrubs easily. They fold into a very compact size, making them amenable to carrying in a variety of different sized pockets. Overall highly recommended and a big step forward from cheap mass-market years.
